At URC we offer a range of residences for older adults. Our community includes 205 Independent Living apartments, 36 Assisted Living residences, 14 Memory Support residences and 37 Skilled Nursing/Short-Term Rehabilitation accommodations.
In Independent Living, we offer several residence styles including 1- to 3-bedroom (some including den) apartments, garden apartments and cottages—in a range of sizes. All other levels of care are private, efficiency-style apartments and suites.
Absolutely! We accept all types and sizes of pets though a temperament evaluation is required. Pets are allowed in Independent Living and Assisted Living as long as the resident is able to care for the pet.
URC residents enjoy an array of on-site amenities including: an art studio, computer center, state-of-the-art Fitness and Aquatic Center including indoor and outdoor pools, auditorium, library, beauty and hair salons, three distinct dining venues, game room, woodworking shop, billiards room, club lounge, on-site bank, bocce court, and many outdoor spaces.
We offer three distinct dining venues. The Orchard is our main dining room offering upscale options for dinner. La Brisa is our modern bistro offering fresh, seasonal fare for breakfast and lunch. The Marketplace offers à la carte informal dining for dinner.
Our menus feature vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and heart-healthy options. While we don’t have a dedicated kitchen to prepare special dietary requests, we encourage residents to speak with their servers and feel confident about the ingredients used.
Our on-site Fitness Center offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment, a plethora of exercise classes for all ability levels, and two pools for a variety of activities. Specific features include: strength training equipment designed for seniors, ellipticals and treadmills with built-in TVs, stationary bikes with built-in TVs, free weights and resistance bands, stability balls and other balance enhancers, and massage therapy appointments. We also offer a range of classes including aqua aerobics, tai chi, yoga, stretch and flex, Sit 2B fit, and circuit training. URC features two pools (one inside and one outside) and an indoor spa where residents can do laps, take classes, or simply enjoy the water. Lastly, our community is directly connected to the Davis Greenbelt Bike & Walking Path if you’d prefer to get outdoors.

We offer 24-hour campus security and a front desk that is manned 24 hours a day. Our community is locked, and upon moving in, residents are given a key fob they must use to access the community from the outside. There are cameras in all hallways and the exterior of the building is monitored by the front desk.
Yes, there is underground parking as well as aboveground covered and uncovered parking. Each resident has assigned, dedicated parking.
URC offers transportation to and from doctor’s appointments (based on availability) as well as seasonal excursions and a complimentary weekly shuttle service to grocery stores.
