Location, Location, Location.

Live in the heart of Davis.

Love learning? We do too—university is in our name, after all! We’re located near UC Davis, one of the world’s leading cross-disciplinary research and teaching institutes. If you’re looking for lifelong learning opportunities, the sky’s the limit. Immerse yourself in your favorite subjects or current events by attending a guest lecture, or experience all the fun and none of the pressure of a college course by auditing a class.

Outside of the classroom, you’ll feel the unique and vibrant energy of our intergenerational collegiate setting. You can cheer on your favorite UC Davis sports team (especially women’s basketball!) or spend a day enjoying everything downtown Davis had to offer.

You may want to catch a book sale or check out the unique art and architecture of the Yolo County Library. You could find yourself perusing homegrown and handmade goods in the shaded Davis Farmers Market. Or, if you’re feeling more like a night on the town, the Mondavi Center hosts a diverse lineup of entertainment, from live music and plays to films and guest speakers. No matter which option you choose, fun is always on the menu.

Embrace your inner tree hugger.

If a laid-back day of getting outdoors and soaking up the California sun is more your speed, the opportunities here are nearly endless. Davis is known as the Bicycle Capital of the United States.
